The certificate certifies that the holder has extensive knowledge in the field of exercise science, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and the design of training programs for clients. The certification program involves a complex testing process that validates the holder’s ability to work with clients of different ages and fitness statuses. The NASM OPT™ model is currently also used by coaches and elite athletes in leading sports organizations in North America, MLB, NBA and NHL.
